Meet RiteScreen at GlassBuild America 2023

GlassBuild America is the largest trade and networking event for the glass, window, and door industry in the Western Hemisphere. It’s where residential fenestration manufacturers and suppliers come together to attend educational events, meet exhibitors, and learn about the best residential products in 2023. RiteScreen will be there to share our screen solutions with our peers in the window and door industry.

All About GlassBuild America 2023

Dates: October 31st-November 2nd

Location: Georgia World Congress Center, Atlanta, Georgia

Host: The event is hosted by the National Glass Association (NGA), an organization that provides tools, resources, and a sense of community that helps save time and money to make businesses better. Founded in 1948, the NGA member community now includes 1,800+ companies and represents all aspects of the glazing and glass-building products industry.

Topics: From window systems and hardware to automated IG and vinyl processing equipment and all the pieces in between, GlassBuild brings the entire supply chain together to discuss the core topics of the industry, focusing on residential windows and doors and commercial/residential glass and metals. With 180,000 square feet of the show floor, attendees can meet more than 400 exhibitors sharing products, materials, and services.

In addition to the core topics, there are other valuable educational experiences, like a mental health presentation to address the importance of emotional safety in the construction industry and a Women in Glass and Fenestration Meetup.

The Importance of Reliable Screens for Your Customer’s Windows and Doors

While everyone is there to discuss glass windows and doors, the industry is only complete with another crucial element: screens. As you craft an aperture solution for your customers, consider how screens can enhance the value you provide:

  • Insect Protection: Screens act as a barrier to prevent insects from entering inside while still allowing fresh air to flow through.
  • Ventilation: Screens enable proper ventilation by allowing air circulation without the risk of debris or small animals entering the house. Air flow and viewability can increase 20 – 25% depending on your selection of fiberglass mesh, or wire types.
  • Allergen Control: Screens can help filter out pollen and other airborne allergens, allowing individuals with allergies to enjoy an open window with less risk of experiencing symptoms.
  • A Better View: Some screens provide privacy by blocking the view from outside, while others reduce obstructions, keeping the indoor view clear for enjoying the landscape outdoors.
  • Temperature Regulation: Screens can help regulate indoor temperatures by allowing the free flow of air, reducing the need for cooling systems, and promoting energy efficiency.
